Mother's Day 2017

What a wonderful weekend we had! Dropped babyAC off at the parents' while +3 went to City Square Mall to shop for some work clothes  and to catch Alien: Covenant. The movie was ok, but I think my maternal instinct was really kicking in cos I kept squealing about how cute the baby aliens were. Hehe. 

Slept in on Sunday, and babyAC actually managed to repeat "happy" "mama" "dee" which made my heart sing with joy and my soul soar to high heights. 

We didn't really have anything planned to celebrate, but any excuse to go have a nice meal is always welcome, so we finally decided on heading to Ellenborough Market Cafe for a buffet lunch. Yum yum yum yum yum. 

Walked around Meidi-ya after (oh I miss you Meidi-ya) then headed to the parents' place again to have dinner with them. 

A simple weekend but one with the people I love the dearest, and that's always something worth being thankful for. 

In other news, I start work tomorrow! Eeeks. I've got mixed feelings, of course. On the one hand I'm excited cos I'm quite sure I'll enjoy the work, but on the other hand I'm gonna miss spending time with the little one and sleeping in and napping with him. 

Well, this is a new chapter in our lives and we'll just roll with it. Oh he learned a new word today, and said a big loud AIYO after lola said it today. Hehehehahahahaha.
